The Wright Place

The Wright Place is the activity center at First United Methodist Church Pensacola FL. It serves as host to various church and community events. Church activities include dinners, receptions, youth, and sports programs. Community happenings include Pensacola Quilt Show, Lion's Club, and Pilot Club pancake breakfast, Pensacola Area Ministerial Association, high school football banquets, Habitat for Humanity dinners, and a seminar for hearing impaired. Every month a local artist is chosen to hang their work in the dining hall for all to enjoy. A reception is held the last Sunday of each month honoring our guest painter.

Second Sunday Luncheons began in September 2000. This is a great opportunity to continue the fellowship of Sunday worship and enjoy sharing lunch in The Wright Place.

Volunteer opportunities exist for every position from Wednesday Night Fellowship Dinners to weekend help with special events. If you have just a few hours to volunteer in either food preparation or service, your help in needed and greatly appreciated. Backyard barbeque experts are still welcome to volunteer for Wednesday night dinners and prepare their favorite grill creations.
