You may be involved in this membership by speaking with any UMW member. Each circle is made up of various ages, goals, and projects. Please feel free to visit with any circle until you find the one that meets your special interests. Pensacola First Church's office may refer you to correct persons and telephone numbers for inquiry. We welcome, and challenge each Methodist woman, to be a part of our strong, and committed membership. Women's Ministries at First ChurchWe invite you to become a part of First Church’s Women’s Ministries. We offer bible study groups; a knitting/crochet prayer shawl group; book study groups; local and global mission groups; and program/action/fellowship groups. Below is information and scheduling about each ministry. This is an opportunity for you to get to know the women of the church and become involved with us in ministry. Join in! Fellowship; local and global mission support; and action are important to all of these groups. The
United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church Pensacola FL is a
membership of dedicated Christian women whose purpose is to know God, and to experience
freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive
fellowship, and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the local and
global ministries of the church. The UMW at First Church meet in study groups, and service
circles once each month from which you may choose a daytime or evening circle to meet your
schedule. Nurseries can be provided for daytime meetings for your convenience. From these
groups, support is provided physically or financially to many agencies in our community.
