A Prayer for Our Campaign

O God, our help in ages past, our hope for years to come: be thou our guide while life shall last and our eternal home.

We offer you our thanks and praise, O Lord, for all those who have come before us and have been your light on this corner in the world. Help us to remember and rejoice.

Enable us to follow the example they have set for us, by centering our life in your will. Strengthen our commitment, so that we may reach beyond ourselves. Help us to see the future that you offer us, through the ministries of the Perry Home and Wesley Abbey.

Give us wisdom from the past, discernment in the present, and vision for the future. Call us to faithfulness, as we endeavor to make First United Methodist Church a spiritual home for generations to come; through Christ our Lord we pray. Amen.
