The Learning Enrichment Program (LEP) is an outreach program of First United Methodist Church Pensacola FL. LEP is held Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Children in the program range in age from four months to five years. Registration is held each year in March for the following school year. Our staff is highly trained and dedicated, but their strongest suit is their love for children. Our hands-on curriculum promotes the growth, development and fine-tuning of cognitive, manipulative and language skills. Our days are filled with art, music and physical activity programs. Even with all the planned activities, there is still plenty of time for free-play both in the classroom and on the playground. The older children attend chapel and all age groups learn about stories from the Bible and Christian values. Our goal is to develop well-rounded and self-confident little people. LEP is also very proud to have it's own PTA, known as LEPTA. These hard-working moms not only provide fundraising for the school, but also assist the staff with special projects, parties and events.
